I like to use songs in class for several reasons. One of them is to introduce a subject and help kids be motivated; the other is to get their attention, lol! Once I asked them to choose their favourite song and talk about it and they did (to my surprise), especially the shy students. Here are some songs that I have used in my classes along with the exercise.
